ROBOTICS

Our students are much smarter and technologically savvy. Realising this Baldwin Co-Ed school has introduced STEM-Robotic education to give our students an opportunity to explore and “learn by doing” with the latest technology – called STEM- Robotic Education.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is very popular in most of the advanced countries and is the future of education methodology. The main motto of Robotic education in our school is to create awareness and popularize STEM Education among our students for better understanding of the concepts of STEM subjects, provide them the opportunity to practically apply these concepts through “Hands on” experience in fun loving way leading to “Learning by doing” so that they are well prepared for their bright future.

Robotic Education enables students to get a head start on simple robotics by building models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer and configure behaviors using a simple program tool developed by leading research institutions like MIT Media Lab, USA and robotic companies. Students learn to design programs and control fully functional models. They use software programs to plan, test and modify sequences of instruction for a variety of life-like robotic behaviors.

Robotic Education is open-ended, problem finding and solving focuses education program. It leads to creativity (state the problem), team work (generate ideas), innovative (select a solution), analytical (evaluate end results), self-confidence (present results). In a nut-shell, the students behave like young scientists.
