Bishop N.L. Karkare is the chairman of our Institution, and heads the Bangalore Regional Conference of the Methodist Church in India. He is committed to excellence in church life as well as in the field of education. Having spent considerable years of his ministry working with zeal and dedication for the rural poor, Dalits and Tribals, concerning their basic issues of land, food, shelter and education and rights his unwavering commitment to his mission and his determined efforts to take everyone along in the realization of God’s plan for his people, mark him out to be a wonderful human being and a wise leader.

Education today is a complex task which is made more difficult by rapid social, economic and cultural changes. Its specific mission remains the integral formation of the humane person, which is the perception of our chairman. He believes that educators are persons called by God to a ministry of education and who demonstrate their dedicated service with all seriousness of purpose, honesty in character and joyfulness in service.

Our Chairman believes that the aspiration to excellence and quality leads to generations who have high standards of how they use their time, energy and commitment. His progressive thoughts have helped the institution to upgrade the education base with a broader spectrum of infrastructure, making the learning process more purposeful and life oriented. The Baldwin Co-education Extension High School is an extension of the Baldwin Boys High School and Baldwin Girls High School who have rendered great service in the field of education for the last 130 years. Under the able leadership of our Chairman, Bishop N.L. Karkare.

We have a spacious school building with sufficient classrooms , computer lab, and science labs which help in creating a good technology aided learning environment. The school playground and physical training instructors facilitates all round physical development of the child through athletics, sports and games.
